Good corrugation machine maintenance is the cheapest way to avoid breakdowns and board defects. This checklist breaks the work into daily, weekly and monthly tasks you can adapt to your plant.
Daily tasks
- Clean glue and paper residue from rollers, glue roller and trays.
- Check that guards and emergency stops are working.
- Look for unusual noise, vibration or heat.
- Check paper reel alignment and tension.
Weekly tasks
- Grease bearings and moving points as per the machine manual.
- Inspect belts, chains and sprockets for wear and correct tension.
- Check roller gap and glue gap settings.
